The South of France is a living narrative of devotion to the Goddess; from the Greco-Romans, Egyptians, Celts, and Kabbalists, to the Indo-Europeans and Neolithics, to the Gnostics, Templars, and Troubadours, her wisdom has been woven into the landscape by generations of spiritual pathways. As you journey through their sanctuaries and sacred teachings in the sun-soaked Languedoc, you will visit:

*the Mediterranean seaport town of Collioure, storied as a route for saints, mystics, and masters from the East

*the Pyrenees and their 16,000-year-old cave paintings of Neolithic shamanesses amid the stalagmites of the Grotte de Bedeilhac

*the thermal springs of the salt-water River Sals that runs through Rennes-les-Bains, famed for its sites of Grail legend and valley’s connection to the Egyptian goddess Isis

*the mountain-top castle of Chateau de Queribus, one of the highest Cathar strongholds in the Aude region

*the Gorge de Galamus ancient cave chapel, and the Romanesque frescoes of the 11th century Notre-Dame church carved into the stone of Vals

*the famed market of Mirepoix and its arcades of Medieval gargoyles amongst local merchants

* the long-ago temple of Roman goddess Diana, upon which the 9th century abbey ruins of Alet-les-Bains now stand, housing one of the country’s Black Madonnas

*the secret canyon waterfall of Minerve, so named in antiquity for its original temple devoted to Minerva

*the “upside-down” mountain of Bugarach and the Celtic-era Dolmen des Fades megalithic passage tomb, both fabled with fairy lore

*the Pregnant Virgin statue of Cucugnan overlooking the scenic vineyards and olive groves of the Occitanie

*the Night Market of Limoux – our home for the week – and the joi de vive of its festive town square

Other highlights during this small group (maximum 12 women) include a trip to an olive oil factory (Bize), a local wine tasting (Cucugnan), and an optional half-day adventure to the fortress city of Carcassonne…

*pick-up & drop-off at the airport in Toulouse

*shared luxury accommodations at Hotel Le Monastere (, a restored 14th century monastery in the Languedoc town of Limoux

*gourmet breakfasts and 6 multi-course dinners that include selections of the finest local wines

*all on-location transportation, entry fees, and guided tours, including teachings on each site’s “Sacred Feminine” connection

*daily gentle yoga and qigong practices (all levels)

*an Opening and Closing Ceremony, as well as mid-week Moon Circle for sharing and reflection

*flight fees and lunches extra
